After some confusion and dealer monkey business:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...r-tappets.html
Final parts all ordered should be able to start wiring the exploding engine next week.
i will change the. Clutch out after the engine is working... if it does

FWIW, I went with their pushrods & reusing stock lifters.
Just wondering, have you got the wideband add-on kit for your tuner?

Reached out to dynojet and got a tune made for the stage 4 kit. those folks are awesome. but they said:
so that may be on the radar.
also finally got the rear head temp sensor out. used a 1/2" deep wall socket and cut a slot in it with a diamond grinding set on the power drill and dremel:

and found a bunch of xr belt guards for $5 on ebay:
"Attached is a base tune for this bike; this tune should be considered a starting point for fine tuning. We would recommend using wideband o2 sensors for this fine tuning, our Target Tune or AutoTune Pro module would be our recommended tool."

i'm not sure my untrained eyes can spot the differences here. there look the same to me. even the pn is the same, i'm guessing they start with a stock head. the porting is not smooth..is it supposed to be? i compared the two rear heads. only diff i see is springs. edit: actually i sort of see it now. there's less material below the valves and around the perimeter of the chamber.
