Man I've just been working and working. Unfortunately no 1250 conversion just yet. Hopefully before summer I'll be able to do it. I've been looking through this thread and your bike is looking great! How do the roadster wheels feel? Definitely something I would want to do in the future! I might have to get myself some of those shocks and see if I can fit them. Looking forward to seeing how everything works out!
good. Take your time.
the wheels and tires are good. Lean easier and more grippy. The mid glide feel more planted. Have rode them heavy yet. I spend more time poking at the bike than i do riding it.
The shocks feel good and im surprised by how much the little change in size affected the height and the rest of the bike. Not as sure footed at stops (I'm 5'9), they feel good though. I need to get a spanner and soften them.

Yes i was going to go black gloss/vovid black the i though about the dings and chips and such. opted for chrome instead.
here are the ebayed results after some TLC... looking like every bit of the the
~$60 i paid for them:
immediate "hmm"... the cam shaft bushings do i need to mess with these? the parts came from an 04+ bike and amd the raised lip/shoulder ones average ~1.74mm(excluding the errors of the caliper):
