Ahh good to know. I specifically purchased the Roadster for the dual discs, so Ill put that on my winter project list. Not sure how I missed that. Need to figure out my plan for the motor mounts too. front one is shot but I heard that unless you pull the motor they're near impossible to replace. so, Ill tackle that and the brake lines.

J&S showed up... fricken 100 lbs.
J&S must have switched suppliers for the jacks anyway. this is not the one you see in the videos... this has a ****. the pump pedal is also not curved....
like i said i would, i immediately switched out the jack oil with bars oil with stop leak and treated all the gaskets with the oil as well. if you are wondering why, search J&S failed bottle jacks.
all bled and clean... good to go.
slapped it all together
up in the air. cool but, that release/lower **** is fng scary and i don't like it. i'll have to look into something with a foot release.

to be honest. i, ME, feel more comfortable with my sportster on the stock or modded HFT lift vs this. if you need a lift for you sportster, i'd (ME) say go HFT/craftsman... especially at the cost and with that **** situation. all the hubbub about this is a must buy for a sportster is complete bullshit, it's totally a luxury item. my sportster will continue to go up on the the HFT until the bottle jack implodes.
the dyna is a different story. that was the first time i didn't s*** a brick while the bike was going up or have to check all around the bike 40 times to be sure it was balanced. it was rock solid up on the lift. that's great. i think i will just use this for the dyna and the next big bike. i can 100% get behind this as a must buy on a big bike. fkg great!

the problem:
almost perfect but the not perfect at all...
looks like it would have been good but the fastener section still made contact with the frame an was not long enough to bend away from the frame through the fork
Had to bend away from the frame and lower triple tree. not pretty but, it works and the bike is no longer a rolling death trap waiting to happen.
replaced the ratty oozing M/C cap with the a brand new one that i had bought for the dyna's touring M/C but, never used because i liked the chrome one that can with it. i could find it before but, tore apart the garage to find today. the goodridge tee and banjos will be moving to the dyna if i don't use the chrome one. just need lines and banjos for the m/c and the calipers.
cool til i find a cleaner tee
