Check out the website, dude! No backing frame. That's one of the main reasons I like em. Plus, they easily come off of the bike and turn into messenger bags.

Yeah that's what interests me as well. I could leave the straps on all the time, and only slap them on when I need em. I love my current saddlebags, but they are really for smaller items.. It looks like these bags would just fit right over top of them and allow more space on trips.

One thing to keep in mind, if they are that easy to take off, they would be that easy for someone else to steal. Just a thought.

I definitely considered that. It would be a moderate concern if I ever took a big trip. Otherwise, just take the sucker off and bring in in the house at night like any other bag...
