We have a unit that has the shift arm (that goes to the linkage) at a different angle that works well with the mini floorboards.

I put these reduced reach forward controls on my bike because i'm so shortlegged. It moves the forward controls back a bit. The only thing i don't like is the brake pedal is a bit higher than i would like, but i'm used to it now.
How much higher would you say the brake pedal got? Also, does it mean that the shifter only moved back 2" and not any higher?

Thanks.

the shift is fine for me. It was moved back the 2 inches. The brake pedal is at a 30 degree angle - if that makes any sense abnd pushed back 2 inches. The angle is a bit steep and i got shin splints when i applied the foot brake. If it was at a 25, 20 degree angle, i'd be more comfortable.

And yes, the sportster does have a conversion kit for forward controls. I must have pasted the wrong link. Go to hd.com site; plug in your bike specs and search for the appropriate conversion kit.
