My friend has VH big radius on his 06 SE fatboy and they are about as loud as any bike I have ever heard. My Short shots are probably just as loud but the engine displacement on my 883 is alot less than his 103 CI big twin so is the sound level. That being the case I don'y think there are too many exhaust systems availible that are louder than VH short shots.

 

Wow thats expensive. I paid $220 on Ebay for my straightshots.I got the entire system including pipes,heat shields,and mufflers.They were used but in great shape.They also had the tips that could be switched from slash-down to balony-cut.I didn't use the tips.They were just too long looking in my eyes.I would look around for a better price.But like I said mine were used.But even new V&H pipes on Ebay are way less then $450.

Thanks everone for all the help as of now I think I may go with the V&H but if some one come up with something better I like to get a set of big radius but I know V&H don't make it of a 1200C
