I ordered 824C from Paughco's website. I will post pics when I get it painted.

Jeff I might be wrong but I believe the 824A is for years 79-81

For a 1998 you would need a 824C (3 gallon)

Or for a larger tank 823C (4.2 gallon)

I have the 832C on my 2002 XL1200

Those '98 Anniversary models had one of the best factory paint jobs IMHO - luv it. Jus' sayin'.......

Yes, the paint job was very nice. I am building this one for a 19 y.o. No telling what this one will end up looking like before it's over with...lol.

I will keep posting pics as we go along.
