get this i battled with her to get the bike, then i get it and she swears she wont ride it. untill amonth and a half later she says you want to give me a ride? now shes hooked andi cant get her off it. the best part is she tells me we need saddle bags and im like ok dear! and then she says honey each week we'll buy something for the bike. and im thinking wow!! it must be a dream. but its real. amazing what one little ride can do. yee haa im happy! looks like the bike is getting lots of goodies. any one else have this kind of luck?

My wife was indifferent until the firsdt ride. Now I can't go for rides on the weekend anymore without her.

I can't get my wife near one. I am trying though. Yep, I agree she's a keeper.

 

Lucky dog, you. Just be sure first on your list is a seat with passenger comfort. Those stock seats are not wife/girlfriend friendly.

 

My wife will occasionally ride, but it's rare. She's not hooked, but that's ok. After being with her for 23 years, some solitude time is good.

My Wife loves to ride and she may noy like to buy something every month she pretty much lets me do what I want ...the flip side of that is I have to keep my mouth shut when she comes home with something new for the house I didnt know we needed ..........but I'll keep her ...........sounds like you have a keeper to

 

When I first met my girl friend (now my wife) 15 years ago, I had a sport bike, she was on my bike sometimes, even I knew that she didn't like it. After 15 years, I battled with her for a while to get my first Harley, she said she will never go for a ride with me, her excuse is to take care of my kids, if I die, at least she is still there to raise my kids. No kiddn', this is what she said. [:@] No hard feeling lol

 

Funny how that works. The women really like the Harley marketing pitch. My wife had never been on a bike before. Now she wants to ride with me everywhere. I tried to buy her a nice leather jacket, but she "wouldn't ride enough to need one" and "they cost too much." Last trip she took, she and a friend stop in a Harley shop. She comes home wearing the latest Harley jacket loaded down with chrome studs.
