Default How often do you wash

Since I don't ride in wet weather, I only wash the bike maybe every 2-3 weeks now that summer is here I may do so more as there are bugs to wash off.

I like to put a conditioner on the leather seat after each wash.

I only wash my bike when it is sunny and I can take a short ride to make sure that it completly dries. Then i'll wipe down the bike with a damp towel. in between washes just use some windex.

I take a shower every Saturday night, whether I need it or not.

Oh, you mean the bike. Depends, in the winter not too often. In the summer about once a week. Had to ride in the rain yesterday. Looks like it hasn't been washed in 6 months right now, but good news!!!!.......it's Saturday.

You would be better to put vinyl conditioner on if you have a stock seat, it's not leather it's hide of the wild nauga.

I wash it only after a rainy ride. I prefer riding!

When it gets really dirty - once every couple weeks. It sees 5 miles of gravel road in the Pacific Northwest every weekday. I had to make a skid plate for it, too.

What about after a long/short ride and it rains pretty good. When you guys get home, what do you do at a minimum after rideing in the rain before you can get around to washing your bike.

Other words do you let it sit until you can wash it or wipe at least the water off the bike. Just wondering what your habits are. You may give me a pointer.

I use Pledge for quick detail after each ride, only wash it after riding in the rain, once a month. I also polish and wax after each wash.
