Default Black or Chrome Apes on a Nightster?

Ever since I first saw the video below, I got to thinking... chrome apes aren't just for chromed out bikes. I like the touch of contrast they add to that Iron. I've been debating getting a set of Z's in chrome... they'd match my pipes. Hmm, what do you guys think?

I vote chrome for sure. The black on black on black on black is so overdone these days.

Must agree on chrome. Personally, not a fan of over the top chrome, but in some cases some is needed for contrast.

Yeah that's one reason why I knew 100% I wanted to keep the stock exhaust headers and go with a set of a slip ons. Love the chromed pipes, especially on the N. I think I might have to go with the chromed apes now.

personally I like black, but sure you can go chrome, your upper forks are chrome, and I personally prefer the bars to match the forks. that's just me. 1/2 your bike is chrome already. you can go any color you want. it will look fine.

I think chrome or black would look good on your bike. There is enough chrome on your bike to not make it look out of place and add the contrast you mentioned. However, black would not look out of place either. Guess it depends on what you plan to do with it in the future.

Looks like you are running a set of chrome apes. What pipes do you have? If chrome, could you post a pic showing the bars and pipes to see how it looks?

As long as they match your purse and belt, you're Ok.

JK, go w/the Chrome.
