I have looked all thru the forum...could not find anything regarding the position of the brake lever after installing the DKC's extensions. Operating the bike under that condition is not safe. Surely someone has run into the same problem. I wanted to get a little more stretch, but I will have to fabricate something from the original lever to accommodate... or just go back to square one.
I do remember seeing something done to the brake lever...but I cannot find it.

Normally there's a longer rod or hose or a complete rear master cylinder that come with the forward controls.

 

not with the sportster....the only true forward extensions beside stock is for 14 and up sportsters....drag specialties and other big supply houses
