One word. DAYLONG. (http://www.day-long.com/newbike_page...sportster.html)

They'll make it exactly to your specs.

Here's mine.

To get to the 'classic' picture of what I think a Sportster should really look like, I want to replace my touring seat with a solo seat. This one is a one-piece, so it has to come off for a solo solution.

Can you guys and gals give recommendations on a solo seat that would be comfortable for more than a short ride? I'm not a candy-azz, but would rather not have a two-by-four to sit on either.

Any testimonials anybody can offer, good or bad?

Thanks!

p.s. I need to learn how to photoshop so I can make a "here's what I want it to look like" pic... anybody got any skills in that area?

Sorry to reply to such and old post. I just joined today & love the look of the tail light & laydown license plate in your pic. Hopefully you still have the bike & remember who made them.
Does anyone else recognize that low profile (I'd guess LED) tail light & the bracket to surface mount the plate like that.
By the way, that Sporty looks sweet!
