They came off an '06 Softtail, not sure which softtail. I wanted something wide, and a little taller, but not with such an inward angle. (does that make sense?) I like them; they're different, feels better than the bars I had before.

Just put the Brawler on my bike last night, looks bad ***. I took it for a ride and brought it to work this morning, 100% more comfortable than the stock vinyl 2-up.

Only down side was that the 2-up left a couple scuff marks on the fender that are now exposed since he solo seat is shorter and goes in the middle hole, but nothing a bottle of compound and a tired arm cant fix.

they make I think what they call 'fender skirts' too... i just saw one in a posting yesterday... made of leather, to cover up just such evilness done by big seats.

good luck.

Cajun's brawler seat looks nice. My biggest complaint about the stock solo seat is that it stops two inches short of the tank and breaks up the nice clean flow. Why would they design a seat that way?

i will have to say mustang. i have the vintage, not the wide though. personally i prefer the lines of the more narrow version. after 4k on the stock seat, i can finally go not stop to the first fill up if i want to. and i'm a 51 year old guy with what my bride calls a flat ***. i also bought mine factory direct. paid about $15.00 more than some catalog houses, but had it in 3 days with no b/s. love the mustang
hope you enjoy whatever you get.

They are called 'fender bibs' I have learned... Thanks for all the great feedback. Mustang seems to be the predominant favorite...

I had a Mustang wide solo on my 1999 XL1200 Sport. It made a huge difference on longer rides.
