Default 1985 Ironhead

I am going to look at a 1985 Ironhead tomorrow. It's a bad *** looking machine. I would like to know how hard is it to get parts if needed. I called the local Harley dealer and they said they don't carry parts and hung up before I asked if they can order them.

J&P has a vintage section.

Parts for Ironheads are plentiful. I am always amazed at how easy it is to obtain NOS parts for my 1977 XLCH. Don't let getting parts make your decision, as they are readily available - it's amazing.

Good luck with the '85 if you buy it. Ironheads are a species of their own.

Hell yeah! Get that machine and keep it going. Hard to believe 1985 is old, damn seems like it was yesterday.
Anyway post up some pictures when you get it.

eBay, old school bike shops, forums, etc. Plenty of places to get parts. Lots of repop stuff on J&P or Dennis Kirk. You should have no trouble finding parts for an '85 wherever you are.
