Default Anyone been harassed for loud pipes?
I know this has been beat to death.I think it helps with cagers but was curious about how cops judge what is to loud.I live in a small town and keep waiting for the locals to stop me.I have found that the V&H pipes are loud.That's what I have.

I have V&H straightshots.And yes they are loud.But there is a cop here that has the same bike with a 2 into 1 V&H header.He followed me down the street 1 day and then came up my driveway.I thought i was in trouble but he wanted to see the bike up close.He said it wasn't too loud.He told me keep the baffles in and I would have no problems.

Anyone know the db level of a stock bike.How do the police decide if you are to loud or is it totally subjective.

my v&h set off car alarms on post ALL the time, but the mp's don't bother me... there are ALOT of bikes here at fort irwin ca. i guess it's the weather here in themojave!!!! ride safe
