Guys...I see most of you haven't been on the forum very long...let me help you out. This has been hashed out so many times it's giving Sporty riders a bad name. 90 percent of everyone on here realizes that the Sportster is a straight up bad-as* Harley Davidson motorcycle made for riding shorter distances and curvy roads with ease and speed....the other 10 percent....well.....they are like the jacka** from 5th grade that wouldn't go away and never made any sense. Don't let it bother you! If the forum gets to be too much for ya.....go get on that Sporty and burn some miles!!!!!! [sm=biker.gif] Peace.

Met a few big V-twin guys lately and each said I had a nice girls bike or something like, yeah my wife drives one etc. Its a Harley, so I can't figure out what the big deal is. I see women driving everything from Sportsters to touring bikes etc. What gives? The 1200R is way more bike than I need and way faster than I need to go.

WARNING: Buying a larger model Harley will do NOTHING to enhance your anatomy. So if that is your intentions, save your money and keep your Sportster. There are non Harley products that claim to increase your size and performance but have nothing to do with Big Twin, EVO, 88, 96 inch, TwinCam,6 speed, Ultra, Dyna. VROD, Road King, Road Glide, Classic, Bagger, Fat Boy etc.
