How to mount a second headlight?
I just replaced my 883s stock headlight with a different one. The new one uses a 12V H4 - 60/55w
I want to take my original stock light and mount it as well, so I would be running both lights at the same time.
Could anyone help me with what I need to do to achieve this? I'm guessing I need to run new wiring from the battery to it?
My electrical knowledge is limited.

The simplest way IMHO is to use a relay. You can buy a suitable light relay from any auto parts store, which should also come with a simple wiring diagram, the sort of thing that comes with a pair of fog/spot lamps.
This will use your current bike wiring to simply switch the relay on and off, so the current draw is actually reduced. A new wire direct from the battery, switched by the relay, will supply power to your two headlights. There are probably instructions for using a light relay on the internet - the basics are the same for both bikes and cars.

I want to run them as if they were made to be this way. Both on low beam normally, and both on high beam when switched on.
