Question Extra tiny bulb in my new headlight assembly?

This is my first time modifying my headlight at all from stock. And it has this extra small bulb in the lens besides the H4 bulb. There are three wires coming from the H4 (I'm guessing positive for high beam, positive for low beam, and negative) and 2 coming from this smaller bulb.

I've done some light electrical work in my current job but I don't really know that much, and nothing about motorcycle electrical systems.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

That is not a stock lens, if you bought it most aftermarket companies put a running light inside them for some reason. You can run the wiring to the power on the headlight harness or not use it at all.

Thanks for the info. Yeah it's not stock. I'm changing it up to a side mounted 7" headlight.

That's an option so that it could be sold in the European market.
Just leave it disconnected for US market use.
My Drag Specialties 7" setup came that way.

That's true - it may even be an EU made product. They are used as a 'parking' light, to meet different regulations to your bikes. I used to put a hi-power bulb in that location on my bikes and use it as a 'daytime' light before daylight headlights became compulsory.
