Can I replace my original fuel petcock that has a vacuum port assist with another petcock without the vacuum port ???

 

Don't see why not. It is there only as a safety feature so that if the fuel line breaks in an accident or something, the sensor that senses the bike is laying on its side and shut down the engine, thus no more vacuum, hence no fuel flow.

Don't forget to shut off the manual petcock when you shut your bike off. Could overflow the bowl.

 

Just don't let a dealer touch it: they will want to "cure" it and "cure" that interest money on your bank account too. Don't tell the "G" they think it should be a Felony, life without stuff.
My 1990 was ignored when HD could barely stand up after AMF.

Did you also notice how clean the air cleaner roasting pan housing and carb is so clean? 0r The engine prefers gas over dirty oil and moisture?
I did, and I ever get that old gas out and can keep her off the side stand, I'll keep going til I fall off?
