I would try autotune and if the problem persists, send the tune to Jamie at fuelmoto or wherever you bought your PV. If you bought from Fuelmoto or DK Customs, let Jamie know the issues you are having and he can modify your autotune. You will not lose your custom tune as long as you save the autotune in a different slot. Autotune in multiple sessions and ride as you normally do, but be sure to catch the area you are having issues i.e. 45 mph steady.
Oh and keep in mind that in autotune, many things are disabled so it will not run as smooth in autotune. Once you flash your autotune to the ECM and stop autotune, you are good to go again.

kripto,
You shouldn't be experiencing any mid throttle hi-jinx with a properly defined MAP, and I believe that if the wrong MAP were loaded for your bike I'd like to think that your issues would be more than constant speed mid throttle problems.
Some questions:
What year and model bike are we talking about here?
What mods if any have you done to the bike, i.e., intake, exhaust, big bore kit, tank lift, coil relocation, etc.?
How did it run before the PV install?
Is this a new PV install?
If not, did a previous MAP work without issues?
If the above answer is yes, have you considered or investigated an intake and/or exhaust leak, or a loose ground connection at the frame or battery?
