O.K. just for a fun topic. What kind of sunglasses / goggles is everyone using? I have some small bobster goggles for my daily rides. They were like 12 bucks and they're awful. Too narrow - top to bottom for my eyes. Need to find something else. Anyone have advice for what to avoid and what they liked?

Just picked up some amber-lensed sunglasses from a local sports shop; cost about 30 bones[sm=crossbonesgif.gif] Best glasses I've used for riding so far.[sm=coolness.gif]

The best glasses that Ive come across are tinted safty glasses that I found in home depot.They look pretty cool, the wind dosent get behind them and make my eyes tear and the best thing was they only cost 10 bucks.The only thing that works better for me are goggles and I hate messing with the dam strap.

When it's cloudy, I use standard safety glasses simular to Snap-On Harley Davidsons. In the sun wear 1985 Rayban aviator sunglasses. Lifetime warranty and I can see through them. I can't wear cleap sunglasses.

 

Panoptx transition Sunglasses expensive but worth it. That way you only need 1 pair, last year I has to ride home from a friends house with dark sunglasses in the dark because I forgot to bring my clear safety glasses with me going without was not an option because of the bugs.

 

Bobster sunglasses or cheap clear goggles.

 

I agree with previous poster: Panoptx transition sunglasses. For old f@rts like me who need prescription glasses, these are the way to go!

I just got some guard dog goggles that fit over my regular glasses.they are a little big but I really dont care .If i cared what anyone else thought I would shave my beard and cut my hair.
