Default Swapping bars regularly?

So I have a Sportster iron 883 with 10" mini apes and forward controls and I was thinking of getting drag bars and mid controls just to swap out occasionally. Is this reasonable to do? I'm figuring I would swap it a couple times a month if I was going to do any hard riding. Would drag bars and mid controls make the bike handle much better? I also have 13" RK shocks on my bike. I'm just thinking it would be nice to be able to go from more laid back to more serious. Not sure if it'll make much of a difference but I'm hoping you guys can help me out with this.

I swap about twice a year or so. 12 inch apes to drag with 9 inch risers. The throttle cables look a little odd with the drags. I just take the extra wiring and zip tie it under my tank lift when the drags are on. Mostly run the drags tho. I.ve got two top clamps so its just a matter of unbolting the riseres and grips. Is it worth it?!? Who knows.

So I'm about ready to put drag bars on from my stock bars . Was actually in the dealership today , asked about if they had drag bars in stock. He Said no, but that i'd also need to get different cables installed? I'm thinking he's simply trying to upcharge and get over on me. Is this true? Do I need new cables when switching from stock bars to drag bars?

Depends on the year and model. 2014 iron went form stock to drag bars and I didnt need to change anything. They werent ideal and it didnt look amazing but its looked far from bad. With the bars I put on it actually has even more slack now.
