Badlander vs stock 48 seat
Anyone replace their 48 seat with a bad lander? I am out of ideas on seats that are comfy, reasonably priced, look decent and don't push you forward. Just went for a 140 mile ride (my personal longest, sadly) and my *** and legs are super sore to where I've finally had enough of this seat.

I ride 7000 km a year on my bicycle so the 48 seat I've installed on my Low seams luxurious by comparison. If you want comfort on the cheap take a look at these. You wear them like underwear. Makes a huge difference.

I just purchased a Badlander off of a forum member about 900 miles ago.
The previous owner was a pretty big guy and didn't like it.
He only used it for a day , so it was in very new condition.
The seat works well for me , it was very firm (hard) when I mounted it , but it broke in nice.
I don't think it changed my position much , I have a rider backrest that I used for the stock seat and the Badlander.
The Badlander is not much wider than the stock seat , but it has smoother edges , unlike the stocker.
I'm a smaller build 5'6" about 160lbs , somewhat small butt.
It did raise me up about 1" from stock , but I was looking forward to the height.
I figured I'd try it and if it didn't work , I'd grab a Mustang.
So far so good.
Looks great too.

I bought one from a member this year I had it on for a couple months and put stock seat back on. I felt I could ride more aggressive with the stock seat but the bad lander probably doubled the amount of pain free saddle time on longer rides so I'm keeping it and will switch to it for anything longer than 3-4 hours in a day. It does raise you at least an inch. I think it made my arms a little more comfortable with stick bars too.
