rear mag wheel on from of IRON 883. Can It be done?
Hey Guys,
I have a wide glide Kit, fitted. Have you had anyone who've
put a rear Mag wheel from A Harley Iron 883 (Mine's 2010)
Its the rear Mag so the hub block in the center is 6.5" Has anyone done it without a mutli-Thousand Dollar machining of custom spacers?
I would like to have matching wheels (2 fat rear Iron 883 wheels) but need to speak to someone who knows.
Hope you can help
Ethan

If you have a front wheel on the front right now with your wide glide your spacers should be long enough. Just need to take them to a machinist to have them cut down. Think I paid 50 bucks to have mine cut. Could have done it myself but I have no way of making a perfectly square cut.
Dont remember measurements. An easy way to do it is to use PVC pipe. Keep cutting pieces till you have it right then use those for measurements.

New Brakes & Pads If put a rear wheel on the first
Hey, Thanks for the information on the spacers to put a rear wheel on the front combined with wide-glide forks.
Will I need to change the brake disc, pads and calipers to brake and slow a much larger, heavier rear wheel?????
Is there anything I've overlooked apart from the spacers, brakes etc?
Hope you can help.
Thanks,
Ethan UK
