Default Can one side of a coil go bad?

it takes a long time after using the enricher for #1 to start firing..also.In second @25mph, a noticeable miss....tried.new plugs, fuel tank screen,,???

Single fire or dual? Either way though,yes one side can go bad. If you have a dual fire coil,you can switch the plug wires from hole to hole,and see if the miss moves to the other cylinder. Single fire,you can switch the small trigger wires on the back of the coil,and switch plug wires, and see if the miss changes to other cylinder.
[A single fire coil has 3 primary wires to it,a dual fire has only 2]

What yr? If it's a 2004+ try a new crank sensor... Unlikely the coil is bad. Also Check the coil connector to see if the pins are not all the way in.
