NEED HELP! 2012 Iron 883 owners

Hey I have almost the same setup. According the V&H you need model 61023 for your bike. I've seen numerous post here suggesting that you can change your intake or your exhaust without a fuel management system but not both. However I wouldn't recommend doing that as these bikes run lean from the factory and by adding an exhaust without one only makes it worse. That being said there are a number of good tuner options to consider so do your homework and choose the one that's best for you. If you're doing pipes & tuner you should atleast get a filter for your stock hamcan since they're fairly inexpensive and make a noticeable difference.
All that aside, I have the exact unit your asking about on my 12' Iron and it has done its job for 3 years now so I can't complain. I'll be forced to go a different route if I ever choose to do a 1200/1250 since this tuner isn't capable of making the necessary changes.
