Default 1998 sportster project

Hello everybody, figured i would post some pictures of the Sportster project i have been working on. It started out as a 1998 hugger 883. The motor has been upgraded to a 1200 and a lot of other stuff is no longer stock. Sorry for the crappy pictures.

Looks very good man! Nice job. I have a 98 hugger 883 also. I have been personalizing mine also. I am taking a break from teh aesthetics and saving up for the 1200 conversion.

Did you do the 1200 conversion yourself? If so, any recommendations/tips/tricks/lessons learned...etc

Great color also.

... I too noticed... well on the contrary... DIDN'T notice a brake light... ????

The bike had the 1200 kit already installed by the previous owner and yes there is brake light. it's under the back of the fender. It's not shown in any of the pictures because of the angle i took the pictures at.

If it’s foam you have a mouse. I would take the seat off and deeper look. I had one get under my seat and it chewed the wire going to the security module.
it’s easy enough to take the seat off and look.

It looks real nice. Have you ever considered chopping the cam covers? I think that would look good with your bike.
