Default Have you heard the SE street performance slip ons?

Thinking of getting the screamin eagle street performance slip on's, have any of you heard these and just how loud are they? I want something a bit louder than stock but not as loud as the V&H's I have heard. I read one post here that claimed they were no louder than stock due to them being street legal (80 db?), do you know what the DB level is on the stock pipes on a 1200?
Thanks for any input.

Mine are much louder than Stock but not deafening like some Drag pipes or other pipes with no baffles.

I'm gonna post a sound vid of the SE Street Performance pipes soon. They're not that loud but they are louder than stock and have a deeper tone.

Right on, that sounds like what I'm looking for. Harley claims a pretty good performance boost with these, did you experience much difference or did you also do AC at the same time?

Dont rule out the V&H slip ons. If you baby it they are not too loud but they bark when you get on it

I installed the Harley Davidson slip-on catalyst mufflers on my 2006 883 this weekend and amokay with the way they look/sound.I originally planned on getting the SE Street Performance slip-ons (something a little louder than stock)but when I went to the Harley shop & asked for them, the technician told me that the SE Street Performances' sounded like sh** and strongly recommended the catalyst muffers instead. What's the deal with this???

I got em and think they are perfect. Louder but not too loud. Much better tone and noticeable increase in peformance. What more could you ask for?

Get em..it sounds to me like they are what you are looking for.
