I went to the dealer and asked to order the SE SP Slash Outs and he said they sent them all back because they sound like crap. They also said I would need a whole new computer (racing tuner) and it's like 600 bucks, they said I needed the new computer because my bike is an' 07 883R and with EFI you can't get new stuff without getting this computer, but I thought all along that you can just remap through the computer for different pipes, cleaners, etc... So what's the truth here, new computer or just a download?

IF you are getting the SE Street Performance mufflers and SE air cleaner, you only need the download. If you are getting other aftermarket pipes, it is adviseable to get a SERT.Mufflers other than the SE Street Perf mufflers arefreer flowing and would most likely require a SERT. The download and SE mufflers are designed as a package. Why else would they even make a download if you can't use it?? I think some dealers are confused and think that all aftermarket mufler/AC combinations require a SERT.

I have the Screamin` Eagle II slip ons on mine. Got the last set available at a local dealer before the "New" Screamin` Eagles came out. Dealer said he could still sell them but would not be able to get any more due to new restrictions. Anyway I love the sound of them.

I've got the Screaming Eagle II slip ons on mine also but I think the newer ones still sound pretty damn good too after hearing celtlion's sound clip.
