hey there,I have stock pipes on my 03 1200c and would like to replace them with straight pipes or screaming eagles if I did this would I have to re-jet the carbs...

It is recommended to rejet the carbs and also install a high flow air cleaner if you are going to replace the pipes. The way the carbs are tuned for the stock exhausts is not the way they should flow for SE's or any other high flow exhaust. Think of it as nasal congestion. Once you get the bike breathing easier and more fuel flow, all that excess air will flow through the high flow exhausts. Hope this helps.
