Default Functional 1/4 faring?

Anyone have a Gauntlet or something like that, that actually helps? I have a cafe eBay fairing that's 95% just for looks and I wanna upgrade, I don't want a batwing though.

This ( or similar ) too big for your liking ?

Have one myself, changed the much larger HD quick detach one to this, just for looks. As the large HD one did look really big on a Sportster. Then again, not sure if I am now happy with the protection this smaller one gives. Haven't driven enough yet to know for sure if I keep this smaller one, or go back to the big one...

Yeah I don't want a windshield, I hate the looks of them.

I bought the HD quick detach 18-inch shield. It was ridiculously tall of course so I began cutting it down a couple of inches at a time, test riding between cuts. BTW, cutting down these windshields is not rocket science. Any kind of saw will work. Finish with a block of wood and sandpaper.

Anyway, I ended up with the windshield only 8-inches high [measured from the top of the headlight]. Doesn't sound like much but it keeps the high velocity air off my body and also keeps it off my hands.

Plus it is small enough that it, to my mind at least, doesn't detract from the looks of the bike.

A windshield won't look good on my bike.

I have Memphis Shades 2320-0105, happy with it. The airflow goes over my shoulders, no pressure on chest, good on long rides. Do a Google search to see pictures.

I like these

You can get them in midnight black. Look good and are pretty functional from what I've heard.
