Cycle Shack Exhaust - Strange Sound

Cycle Shack Exhaust - Strange Sound
I just installed a pair of Cycle Shack slip-ons with my stage 1.
They sound great, but I noticed that after about 10 minutes of riding (once they get good and hot), the sound of the exhaust changes a bit. I start to get a bit of a echo or hollow sound coming from the area close to where the crossover tube meets the rear pipe (I have asportster 1200). Has anyone else noticed this with the Cycle Shack pipes? I'm wondering if having re-used the gasket at the crossover pipe caused a leak, and that is what I'm hearing (but why only when they heat up?).

RE: Cycle Shack Exhaust - Strange Sound
It could be the gaskets. I put new gaskets on when I installed my Cycle Shack mufflers. It could also just be the "break in" sound. The cycle shack mufflers tend to sound a bit tinny and harsh when you first install them. Then they mellow out after some carbon build up after 500 miles or so.
It's easy to check foran exhaust leak. Just get some newspaper and shread it up and place in below where the crossover connections are. Start the bike, if there is a leak there at the crossover tube...guess what will happen?? Screaded newspaper all over your garage.
