Default Best prescription glasses / goggles?

OK, help me out here!I'm quitting my job in a couple weeks, and I've got $700 bucks in my medical flex account to spend before then, or I lose this free money.

Since I don't need a dentist appointment or a physical exam, I thought I blow the cash on some good prescription goggles or glasses that would be suitable for motorcycling.

So here's my question: if money is no object, what would be the best prescription sunglasses or goggles to get?

Thanks for any input!

I just ordered HD Profile Prescription Goggles RX 05-98167, transition lenses. $299
You will need the following information from your prescription:
sphere cylinder and axis readings
PD-Pupilary distance
date of exam
doctors signature

Your local dealer should have information, If not Contact: HD c/o SOLA Sunlens ; FAX: 859-689-4567. Once your order you should receive within (2) weeks.

I too need perscription glasses. I have chosen just togo buy contacts, rather than go through the hassles of custom riding specs.

Lasik sucks .OK for about a year then reading vision was right back where it was before. That s what happens when you get old may as well burn your money

You can try this site here, I have the bobster sportstreet, and they have worked out real well. I have heard that wiley x makes a decent pair of glasses as well. http://www.opticsplanet.net/bifocal.html

Ive tried various goggles-over-prescription and suitable prescription glasses for riding. Switching between day time shades and night time clear is always a problem. Since I wear one of Harley's helmets with the mini-visor, I found this to be the best of both worlds -- I can wear anything that suits me and the circumstance:

Lenscrafters has an assortment of "sports" glasses that look like the type basketball players wear. They look like they would be great. I haven't tried them out as I ride behind a windshield and figure I don't need them.

My corneas are too thin for lasik, but everyone else in my wife's family has loved it for years. Different results for different people I guess.
