well I'd do that... but HD wants 180 on the bike, 80 if I bring in just the tires and wheels. Seems ludicrous and I don't have a local indy shop that I've found thus far that will/can do motorcycle tires.
The last time I needed a tire I went to a Honda/Yamaha shop, parked, and let them do everything. When the scooter was returned, the Dunlop tire had "HARLEY" on it. For about 1/2 the stealers price for only a tire.
They're charging your for an hour of labor. That's not unreasonable for removing and replacing g both wheels. Took me longer for both, that's for sure.
Dang! The dealerships near you guys charge 180 an hour on labor?! That's insane! at 180 for the job, it would be a little over 2 hours here. The shop here charges 85 an hour for labor, and even that is steep I think.
My experience with Dyna Beads. Unless the air you put in the tire is ABSOLUTELY dry, the beads will clump together and not work correctly. I tried them on my bike and would get inconsistent results.
