Am seeing a front fender mount, not a 48 fork brace? The vertical distance from the mounting bolts and the 90 bend to horizontal will limit the effectiveness of that as a fork brace. And that is a lot of nice work on your sporty.

either way, am believer in the 48 front end with braced forks and fatter tire. Really good for type roads am riding on, and believe the steering geometry is slightly steepened also (more on the 2016 up models). Redid mine a little with progressive springs and 15 wght oil and 1/2 in more preload spacers. Added spring seating for this old man.

Thanks for the details about your suspension changes. I put some 412 Progressives on the back of my 883 (in 2017 after unwittingly hardtailin' it for a bit 8^O), and I love 'em. When I get to circle back to the Sporty (been riding the M8 ...tackles semi-trains WAY better) I'd like to check out a Ricor Intiminators upgrade. My sense is it would be a very enjoyable upgrade on a (my) Sporty.
Cheers.

Since you mentioned Ricor Intiminators, you might want to act sooner rather than later...
-IF- DK Customs can still get them, they would be the only 'source' that I am aware of.

ie) the Ricor Shocks website is defunct as is their Facebook page. So, not sure if anything
'Ricor' is even still available...

good luck,

T.
