Did you get the 48 axle with those parts?...If so, your golden
If not, you'll need a mid-glide axle. You can get that from Harley, apparently Vulcan, or other various sources.
The OP just needed an axle (didn't come with the 48 frontend he got), so he got it from Vulcan

cvaria,
You will be the first to know if I do put these on the forum to sell. I am unfortunately a new member and have to wait a month before I am allowed access to sell things on the forum.
I will however let you know that on the lower triple tree the right side stopper (little nub that stops bars from hitting your tank) is broken off. Don't know if you just need the top trees but the bottom to me seems rather useless Thank you for your interest and I will be sure to PM you as soon as I am able to sell them on here. If not eBay it is.

Doing the same to my 07 883 custom
I need help! So I recently bought a 2011 48 triple tree and Now i’m trying to find a wheel that’s not more than $400 (lol, impossible) but someone from harley was telling me that my 39mm forks on my 2007 883 custom will fit but the axle and bearings won’t? he was confusing me. I felt confident about this project but after talking to him i think i might have messed up. Help!

I think the later Customs had mid-glide tree spacing and 39mm forks so those would seem to be a better match.
As for your fork sliders, I'm not sure what the year was when HD changed to a 25mm axle, from like a 1" version. That
may be what the guy was referring to.
Sorry not much help, but good luck with your project,
T.

Offhand I don't know about your 2007 vs 2011. I did the converstion on an older "Hugger" and the front axle fitment is different. .
I recommend work on spec'ing out your needs at some Harley Online Parts Finder, Like St. Charles...
http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....artsfinder.htm
Or Ronnie's

I have some data in my build files, but not your years. I spec'ed everything out using the haard data. Talking to folks is fine, and if they give you explicit parts numbers with details that's great, but ultimately you gonna run into half baked answers that direct you to go do the homework all yourself ...and then you realize it takes more time and effort than you thought ...BUT ITS WELL WELL WORTH IT!!
BTW, sucks about that wheel cost, eh? 8^) ask me how I know 8^P
GOOD LUCK!
