I have a DK Customs intake with the K&N filter. After washing it and oiling it with the K&N wash and oil..when i get to about 60mph on the bike my check engine light comes on. Anybody know why? How do I fix this?

 

You may have put too much oil on the filter restricting the airflow. Did you let the filter dry well after washing? What code(s) did you get if any?

if it is p0122 "tps", clear the codes and see if it comes back. moisture/filter oil mix in my ac causes this for me. usual happens after my filter gets wet and the filter oil gets to moving.
