Hi,
I just installed some new grips. I adjusted the idle and throttle cables so that when I let go of the grip they go all the way back to 'start'. With my stock grips there was about a 1/2 inch of play left when I let go of the throttle. Does anyone know what the right setting is for this. Are mine too tight?

Hey Barry. Check your adjustment under the throttle grip. Also reinspect your installation.

I did check the adjustment. I adjusted it to where it springs back to the beginning point, rather than having extra play in it. That's what I'm wondering about. Is that too tight?
