Default My Seventy Two

I just wanted to share a few photos of my 2013 Seventy-Two. I bought it brand new last year and almost have it all the way I want it. Installed a few new goodies this weekend and snapped a few pics.

Modifications include the following

Chrome fork legs
Chrome swingarm
Chrome belt pulley
Chrome battery cover and oil tank covers
H-D heat shields
Custom Chrome spinner knock-off style gas cap
White H-D spring mounted solo seat
Lowered with 11 inch Progressive shocks
White H-D grips
Polished front and rear brake rotors
Velociraptor intake/air cleaner
Vance & Hines Straight Shots slip-on mufflers
Vance & Hines Fuelpak tuner
Roland Sands Designs Vintage Apes 12"

I still have to switch over to all chrome hand controls and switch housings and a new mirror. Looking at some new footpegs but need to decide on which style I want. Also going to do coil relocation and wire tuck which is my next project later this month.

I am not usually a chrome guy but chrome works with the vintage look of the Seventy-Two in my opinion.

Great looking bike.

I like the combination of the white rings and the white seat.

Great looking bike. I like chrome on a 72 also. Nice job.

Which oil and battery covers are they? Do you have a P/N.

Sharp bike! That green definitely stands out. I almost bought a yellow one but decided on a new Iron instead...

wow, yeah, it's stunning, Love the paint too since your going all the way with it I'm sure you'll do the chrome brakes too.. maybe even upgrade to a bigger caliper up front.

personally I would have gone with the body color side covers. It's a keeper though.

Hands down the best stock Sportster in the current HD lineup. I was going to pick one up myself but I saved a bunch by buying a used '06 carb'd model. You've got it looking pretty damn good as it is. Only things I'd do are switch over to 14" chrome Burly apes and lower the rear about two inches with solid struts since you've already got a springer seat on it.

very cool. My son has a "greenie", and where ever we go, he gets all of the looks. Theses 72s are cool x 10!

Thanks for the compliments. I will post up a few more pics once I do the coil relocation and wire tuck.

I do have a question for anyone that has done the coil relocation, where does the horn get relocated to? One other question, have any of you guys done cams on your fuel injected Sportsters, is it worth the money? What type of real world gains did you see? Thanks
