If HD made sportsters 20 percent bigger- that would be cool. Love the looks but not the circus bear on a tricycle look(that would be me). And in remembrance of my best friend Ron who recently passed. .He rode NY to Ca several times way back.. got harassed by Texas cops for his appearance..Hondas, Harleys, didn’t matter..whatever- a real hardass that saw it all.. last bike was 1200 sportster.

They did, it was called a Dyna, but then Harley quit making those too.

If you buy your wife an 883 odds are you'll be the one stuck riding it. It'll take everything in her to keep up with the pack. Not a pleasant high speed bike.

Maybe the pack isn't worth keeping up with.

I dont see the point in the 883, other than that was the old sportster dsplacement. My 1200 had a lot of miles on it when I bought it, and it hasnt been "tuned". But It just about has enough power for me as it is. I do love that bike though.

Not everyone likes or wants to run the interstates. I for one much prefer the back roads or State hiways.

It's a good city bike but my area in Arizona is wide open.
