2014 iron air filter
Ok guys I'm a newbie to this. I got my 1st bike back in January for a birthday present 2014 iron 883. It has Vance and hines slip ons. I replaced the stock airon filter with a k&n high flow and at the suggestion of some friends who also have irons I removed the back plate to allow more air flow. It's been a few months since I did this. The bike runs great and sounds great. But I'm wondering if I should get the ecm flash...will it make any form of a difference. Will just the filter an removal of the backplate affect air flow enough that the flash can modify air/fuel? Thanks

For a few dollars more then the "FLASH" you can buy the Fuel Moto Micro EFI and have more fuel flexibility.
Two separate dealers said they would suspect the bike would still run lean with the dealer flash.
Going rate was in the $150 range for the flash, and the FM Micro priced at $199.
The "flash" will raise the RPM, and the FM Micro won't.
I tried the XIEDs for the 2014 model with V&H slip ons and could never get rid of the popping. Switched to the Micro and it really woke the bike up.
