Default Did my first oil change this morning- water came out?

I left my bike outside all winter and cx'd the oil this AM. It looked to me like the first shot of liquid to come out was dirty water. Def not oil, thats fer sure. Was this because it was out all winter? I rode it in the winter... the longest time it sat was 5 weeks. what the dilly yall. did I do any damage?

Sounds like simple condensation in the tank... Water will migrate to the low point in the reservoir.Had the water/oil mixed, you'd have had a milkshake if there was any significant amount ofwater.

You're probably better off leaving the thing cold all winter rather than putting it through heat cycles. Just like the water collects on the insides of your windows (warm house, cold outdoors), the same thing can happen with your oil tank. (Warm oil inside, cold environment outside)

I'd reckon you'll be fine.
