Primary problems / clutch bolt snap
So from the pics below you can see that the clutch cable bolt snapped off in the thread of the primary cover.
I called Harley to see if they warranty this type of thing seeing as my bike is a 2014. He said he'd have to look at it first so ill be taking it in tonight after work.
My maintence tech at work is fairly certain he can get the broken bolt out and re thread the inside if its a problem. If not im looking at $269.99 from HD for a new primary cover.
Has any one had this happen to them? What did you do?

Do not think that broke on it's own. Something must have bumped it. If you can see absolutely no marks on the outer hex and where they crimped it down (to prove you did not bump it) and you know you did not bump it or turn it the wrong way, that should be covered by warranty. If they will not honor warrant, that should be real easy to screw out. Find a screwdriver that will just start in by cable that has a slight larger taper. Now tap it in slightly (not too much to expand it out) Now with a wrench or maybe even by hand screw it CCLW. Now you can get you another clutch cable and you are good to go.

Cool..watch out for those hogs when they run out in the street next time. I hit one in the hills in WV in a Mustang and almost wrecked. Was trying to slow down and when I went over it, it lifted the car off the ground. Needless to say, I kept going. Somehow I did not want to pay some farmer for broken and bruised pork-chops that I felt he left running loose on the road..HA
