Ok so 2 fold question. 2008 Nightster "Harley brand Rocker kit"
First I have 3 big rubber gaskets here, 2 I have nowhere to put. I think hopefully you guys can shed some light.


#1 The 3 big rubber gaskets were in my kit. From what my manual says and I can see I only need one? Can you let me know which.


Also for #2. My lower Rocker gasket is pure metal no adhesive of any kink on it. The one I'm scraping off had that orange look to it. Is this aluminum gasket in the pictures going to work ok?

#4. This is the metal lower rocker gasket.. I just think there should be more "gasket" to it.. Maybe

 

What is the year range on your kit? Pre-2004 rocker boxes are 3 pieces requiring that third seal.

 

Really well that would explain a lot. It's supposed to be for an 08. I imagine everything is different then?

 

Agree ... my 02 requires 3.
