Default Passenger peg mounts

Is there any aftermarket option for the passenger mounts? Looking at the way it mounts it look incredibly simple but I cant find anyone that makes a mount except Harley.

And of course HD wants over $140 for two small pieces of metal.

Anyone fabricated their own or ordered a cheaper version?

I made my front pegs. I've fabricated a lot of parts for my bike, but passenger peg mounts isn't one of them. They have a specific shape that is cast. If you are decent welder you could make some. But depending what your time is worth per hour I'd just buy them. I bet you could find a set in the classifieds here or in Craigslist used at a fraction of the cost.

Craigslist, and check it often. Also check CL in areas within a couple of hours ride, good reason to fire up the bike for a long afternoon ride.

You will need mounts specific for a 2014 and 2015 Sportster due to the rear brake master cylinder and how the rear peg mounts need to attach. May be hard to find a used set. I would just bite the bullet and pay HD for the correct mounts.

Yup, I bought mine on ebay and they came from China in 3 weeks. Everything on them says HD but I paid $120 shipped and like I said, took a while to get here.

Here is a link. Price went up some.
