Default Led h4?

Has anyone installed an LED H4?

I just updated all but my headlight to custom dynamics LEDs and now my headlight looks like s*#^.
I'm not a fan of the sealed units from trucklite, JL speaker, and HD (actually just jl speaker).

I was searching and found LED H4s with ballasts.

Any info or opinions are helpful, thanks.

I am using a LED with built-in ballast that fits in my stock 5 3/4" casing. Search this forum and you will find a couple of options.

I am using the Pathfinder LED from SoCalMotoGear. It is a direct plug and play. LED has 2000LM and 6000K. Not exactly certain how long...perhaps six months. You can check out the site. The picture of the before and after is my headlight.

There is another thread that also provided info on a similar product.

I may order it but, the shipping time is horrendous. 2 weeks!

I do not think mine took that long or I would not have ordered the part from them. Perhaps they have different shipping options.

Look for the other thread on LED headlight bulb with built-in ballast. I am not endorsing this pathfinder....just providing information on options. Check the other thread. I think that one was cheaper for a comparable product. If I find it, I will provide you with the link to the thread.

I have an LED headlight bulb too. I bought it from chromeglow.com its really nice. you just have to do some minor adjustments to fit it.

Haven't installed mine but bought the $24 ebay version that looks identical to the pathfinder except without the plug. For $50 difference I can crimp some terminals on the wire ends and plug them in. Took 16 days from China to FL. I was expecting a bubble wrap package but it came nicely packaged in a foam filled box.

Just got around to my preliminary aiming and photographing of the stock headlamp last night to do a comparison.

This is the one I purchased.
