I had an 07 883 Custom.That bike seemed really quick from 0-60.My 06 1200L does not seem as fast.Pulls better after 60.Is it the EFI or difference in gearing? Or maybe I just nuts.

 

Gearing. The 1200 is geared higher.

Fucc it, I'll take the 1200 anyway. As far as I know, Im at 60 in a sec or 3.

 

I am sorry, but you are nuts unless something was wrong with your 06 1200. The 883 gearing does help off the line, but no matter how you look at it the 1200 is faster: 0-60, 1/4 mi., etc. than an 883.

 

Just another 1200 owner living in denial.

A 1200 will easily take an 883 in stock form. However, on the 07's, the gap is not as great as it was before.

 

Is that a joke? Anyone? If you do a 883 to 1200 conversion and keep the same gear ratio, I do believe you.
