Default Homemade sissy bar

First time working with steel and building my own parts. This is v1.0.

I think I'll start on v1.2 next week.

Nice work! How did you attach it? I've been thinking about getting a set of the HD quick release sissy bar brackets and welding up my own sissy bar that way I can take it on and off quickly.

Good work!

Here's some more inspiration, hand fabbed from round stock. Dagger from BudK, bolted on.

I don't think your going to twist square tubing. You could try filling and packing it with sand so it doesn't collapse. I would stick to solid square wrought iron.

Twisted solid square stock and chromed. This sissy bar came off a 70s Sportster and is 40 years old. I paid $75.00.
