Default 2014 72 - Forward to Mid Controls (which parts?)

Anyone have some insight on which parts I need to put mid controls on my 2014 Sportster Seventy-Two? The 2014 Superlow I believe came with mids, would a direct swap work?

Im not very mechanically savy so trying to learn a little something. Thanks in advance.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF.

I use this website for parts info. You can look at all the Sporty models to see any differences. It would also be worth visiting a local dealer to study the different models in the metal.

I used a set off a 2014 Iron...perfect fit for my 2014 Forty-Eight. Got the complete set (foot peg mounts, shifter, brake pedal, foot pegs, and shorter rear brake rod) for $100 on Ebay (a dealer take off as they put forwards on the Iron).

Ive got a set from a 2012. If you find that htey will match, I would be more than happy to make a deal with you. However, I dont believe they will. I think they changed some stuff up starting with the 2014 models and the rear master cylinder

You will need a set from a 2014-2015. Shouldn't have trouble finding mids on eBay. That's where I sold the mids that came with my iron. If they work for you and you don't want your forwards anymore you can sell them on eBay to make up for the cost of the mids.

Thanks for all the advice good people. I need to get a set of mid controls that are chrome or polished (cant use the black ones, sorry asnycz). I think my best bet is try and get a set off of a 2014 Sportster Superlow. Trying to figure out what parts I need to order (basically what parts make up mid controls), any further advice would appreciated.
