DIY Passenger Pegs

DIY Passenger Pegs
Greetings,
Just thought I'd share this for anyone looking to do the same. I'm not sure if anyone has done this already.
Since the passenger pegs for a 2014-2015 Forty-Eight are overpriced, not to mention an unnecessary pain in the *** to install, my cousin helped me out and made some for mine and his bike.
We used existing holes that i believe are where you mount the pegs if you purchase them as well, but I'm not sure (see photos).
He made them 6" in length out of T6 6061 aluminum. It gives the passenger some additional foot room. I thought they might stick out a bit too far, but once screwed in they sink in there really nicely.
Might paint them black in the future, but I sort of like the raw aluminum look.
P.S. The pegs are level as well
